Parent & Player registration refunds

This article explains:

  • when PGA Jr. League registrations are refundable

  • how the different registration fees work

  • how Coaching Fee refunds are handled

  • who to contact for refund assistance


Understanding PGA Jr. League Registration Fees

PGA Jr. League registration costs may include two separate fees:

  1. #GameChanger Club Fee

  2. Coaching Fee

These fees are handled differently during registration and follow different refund rules.


⛳ #GameChanger Club Fee

The #GameChanger Club Fee is a one-time annual fee that covers the player’s official PGA Jr. League Team Kit and membership benefits.

The Team Kit includes:

  • customized jerseys

  • hat or visor

  • bag tag

  • drawstring bag

  • sticker

  • additional team gear

The #GameChanger Club membership is valid for the full calendar year (January–December).

Players only pay this fee once per calendar year, allowing participation in multiple PGA Jr. League programs during the same year without paying the fee again. Additional programs joined during the same calendar year typically require only the Coaching Fee.


⛳ Refund Rules for the #GameChanger Club Fee

Before the Team Kit Is Ordered

The #GameChanger Club Fee is refundable until the Coach submits the Team Kit order.

At this stage:

  • custom items have not yet entered production

  • the registration remains eligible for refund review

After the Team Kit Is Ordered

Once the Coach submits the Team Kit order:

  • the $120 #GameChanger Club Fee becomes non-refundable

  • customized merchandise enters production with the manufacturer

This policy applies because the Team Kit includes customized items produced specifically for the player.

Important:
After Team Kit submission, parents/guardians needing different jersey sizes, replacement items, or corrected customization must purchase replacement items separately.

Parents/Guardians can purchase replacement jerseys and Team Kit items through the Macron Parent Replacement Storefront.

Coaches should not place orders through the Parent Replacement Storefront. Coaches needing Assistant Coach jerseys or other special Team Kit assistance should contact PGA Jr. League Support for purchase information.


🏌️ Coaching Fee

The Coaching Fee is separate from the #GameChanger Club Fee.

This fee is paid directly to the Coach for operating the program. Each Coach independently determines:

  • the Coaching Fee amount

  • how the fee is collected

  • refund eligibility and timing

Because of this, Coaching Fees vary by program.


🏌️ How Coaching Fees Are Collected

Online Coaching Fee Payments

Some Coaches collect the Coaching Fee during PGA Jr. League registration checkout.

In this case:

  • the Coaching Fee is paid online together with the #GameChanger Club Fee

  • the funds are transferred to the Coach through connected payment systems

Offline Coaching Fee Payments

Some Coaches collect the Coaching Fee outside the registration system.

Examples may include:

  • cash

  • check

  • Venmo

  • other direct payment methods

If this option is used, no Coaching Fee is charged during online registration. The Coach will provide payment instructions separately.


🏌️ Refund Rules for Coaching Fees

All Coaching Fee refunds require Coach approval.

How the refund is processed depends on how the fee was originally paid.

Online Coaching Fee Refunds

If the Coaching Fee was paid online during registration:

  • PGA Jr. League Support processes the refund

  • Coach approval is required before the refund can be issued

This is because online Coaching Fee refunds are withdrawn directly from the Coach’s connected Stripe/bank account. Confirming approval helps ensure the Coach is aware of the refund and has sufficient funds available.

Offline Coaching Fee Refunds

If the Coaching Fee was paid directly to the Coach outside the registration system:

  • the Coach is responsible for issuing the refund directly to the parent/guardian

  • the Parent/Guardian should contact the Coach to request a refund


Refund Processing Time

Once approved and processed, refunds typically appear in the original payment account within 4–6 business days.

Processing timelines may vary depending on the financial institution.
