This article provides information about Stripe (Direct Deposit).

PGA Jr. League Coaches can set up a Direct Deposit Account via Stripe and receive player registration payments in 2-3 days directly for their bank account of choice!

Where to set up your Stripe account?

Please set up your PGA Jr. League Stripe account from your PGA Jr. League dashboard!

Note: If you have previously created a Stripe account outside of the PGA Jr. League system, this account, unfortunately, cannot be used for PGA Jr. League.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is one of the largest electronic payment processors globally and works with companies such as Amazon, Google, Shopify, Zoom, Lyft, and more! Click HERE to visit Stripe's website to learn more about the product (Reminder: Please create your Stripe account via the PGA Jr. League Website, and not via the Stripe.com website).

Is it safe to use Stripe?

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe uses the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

What types of bank accounts can be used?

  • Personal

  • Company

  • Non-Profit

How many Stripe accounts can Coaches create?

There is no maximum number of Stripe accounts a Coach can create for PGA Jr. League. For example, a Coach can create a Stripe account for their Facility AND a Stripe account for their personal bank account. With that said, please see below for further details about how many Stripe accounts can be used actively at a given time.

How many Stripe accounts can a Coach actively use?

A Coach can only actively use one Stripe account per PGA Jr. League 'Location'. For example, if a Coach created multiple Stripe accounts, only one can be actively used to receive payment for their 'Location'.

Note: If a Coach hosts PGA Jr. League at multiple 'Locations', different Stripe accounts can be actively used for each 'Location'.

Can Coaches change Stripe accounts mid-season?

Yes! As a Coach, you can always manage your PGA Jr. League payment and change the active Stripe account at your 'Location'.

Why do Coaches need a Stripe account to receive 'online' payment'?

Coaches have two options for collecting PGA Jr. League payment - 'online' or 'offline'.

If a Coach wants to receive payment 'online', a Stripe account must be set up, and your Program must be set to 'collect payment online'. Your Players will pay both your 'Coaching Fees' + the 'PGA GameChanger Club Membership Fee' (1x annually) at online registration checkout. The 'Coaching Fees' will be deposited directly in your bank account with 3-5 days.

If a Coach wants to collect payment 'offline', you will need to receive this payment outside of the platform (e.g., in-person at your Facility). Your Players will only pay the 'PGA GameChanger Club Membership Fee' (1x annually) at online registration checkout, and your 'Coaching Fee' must be collected 'offline'.
