How Messaging Works in the PGA Coach App
Messaging allows Coaches to communicate directly with families linked to their Programs and Teams. Messages are delivered in-app and notify parents and guardians associated with each player, including additional guardians. It is important to note that this communication system focuses on guardians and parents, not the players themselves.

Update automatically as rosters change
Help ensure no families are missed
✅ Best Practice: Use automatic Program or Team groups whenever possible to ensure complete communication coverage.
How to Use Automatic Group Messages
Automatic group messages appear directly in your Messages inbox, alongside your other conversations.
Because of this, they may not look like “new” messages at first — but they are ready to use at any time.
You can access them in two ways:
Option 1: Scroll to Find the Group
Open the Messages tab
Scroll through your message list
Look for conversations with names that directly match your Program name or Team name
Tap the group to open it and compose a message
Option 2: Search by Program or Team Name (Recommended)
Tap the search bar at the top of the Messages screen
Start typing the name of your Program or Team
Select the matching group conversation from the results
Send your message
This is the fastest way to locate the correct group, especially if you have many conversations.
⛳ Best Practice
Use these automatically created Program or Team groups whenever possible to ensure complete communication coverage and avoid missing any families.
