This article explains how parents and guardians can send messages to their PGA Jr. League Coach and Team directly within the MyPGA Mobile App.

How Messaging Works in the MyPGA App

Messaging allows parents and guardians to communicate with:

  • Their PGA Jr. League Coach

  • Their child’s Team

  • Their child’s full Program

Conversations are created automatically based on your player’s registration and team assignments.

How to Send Messages in the MyPGA Mobile App

Open the MyPGA Mobile App

  • Launch the MyPGA Mobile App on your mobile device

  • Sign in using your MyPGA account

Access Messages

  • Tap the Messages icon in the bottom navigation bar

  • You’ll see a list of your existing conversations

Start or Join a Conversation

  • Tap the “+” icon in the upper-right corner of the screen

Select a Group Message

  • Your player is automatically included in:

    • A Program-wide message group

    • Their specific Team message group

  • Select the appropriate group to send your message

Important Notes About Messaging

  • Parents cannot create custom groups

  • Messaging groups are created automatically based on:

    • Player registration

    • Team assignment

  • If your child is not rostered to a Team, team messages may not appear

  • Additional guardians linked to the player will also receive group messages

  • All inbound and outbound messages will appear in the MyPGA Mobile App
