How parents invite additional guardians to follow a player’s PGA Jr. League season

Parents can invite additional family members and/or guardians to access a player’s PGA Jr. League information in the MyPGA Mobile App. Invited guardians can view schedules, messages, and other season details once they accept the invitation.

What is a Guardian?

An Additional Guardian is a trusted adult (for example, a parent, grandparent, or caregiver) who is granted access to a player’s PGA Jr. League account in the MyPGA Mobile App.

Important:

  • Only the account owner can invite an additional guardian.

  • The account owner is the person who originally registered the player in PGA Jr. League.

  • Coaches cannot add guardians, and PGA Jr. League Support cannot send guardian invitations on behalf of a family.

  • Guardian access must always be initiated by the account owner through the MyPGA Mobile App.

Guardians can:

  • View schedules and events

  • Receive messages

  • Stay informed throughout the season

Guardians do not have access to the following features:

  • Submit or manage RSVPs

  • Access billing

  • Add or manage other guardians

  • Edit registration details

  • Manage rosters

  • View unassigned players

How to Invite an Guardian (Parent Steps)

1. Log in to the MyPGA Mobile App

  • Open the MyPGA Mobile App

  • Sign in with your MyPGA account

2. Access Accounts

  • Tap the menu icon

  • Select Accounts

3. Invite a Guardian or Family Member

  • Tap the Invite Guardian banner
    or

  • Tap the + icon in the top-right corner

4. Assign Player and Enter Guardian Details

  • Select the player the guardian should have access to

  • Enter the guardian’s:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email address

This helps ensure the guardian is linked correctly to each player’s account.

Important for families with more than one player:

If you want the same guardian to have access to multiple players, you may need to send a separate guardian invitation for each player.

To do this:

  • Repeat the invitation steps again for each additional player

  • Use the same guardian email address each time

5. Send the Invitation

  • Tap Send

6. Confirmation

  • You will see a confirmation message confirming the invitation was sent

Once accepted, the guardian will appear on the player’s account profile.

📺 Video tutorial available below demonstrating these steps.

How to Accept a Guardian Invitation (Guardian Steps)

Before getting started:
The invited guardian must be someone other than the account owner.

The invited guardian must:

  • Use their own MyPGA account (or create one)

  • Sign in with their own email address

  • Use their own device when possible

The account owner and guardian should not use the same MyPGA login or try to manage guardian access from the same device, as this can cause confusion or prevent access from displaying correctly.

1. Receive the Invitation Email

  • The invited guardian will receive an email with an Accept Invitation link

Note:
Invitation emails may sometimes be delivered to spam, junk, or promotions folders. Be sure to check those folders if the email does not appear in your inbox.

2. Accept the Invitation

  • Tap or click Accept Invitation in the email

You will be directed to the MyPGA sign-in page.

3. Sign Up or Sign In

If you do not have a MyPGA account:

  • Download the MyPGA mobile app and create an account

  • Enter your name, email, password, and date of birth

  • Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your email

  • Log in after verification

If you already have a MyPGA account:

  • Sign in using your existing credentials

4. Confirmation

  • A confirmation message will appear once the invitation is accepted

5. Access the MyPGA Mobile App

  • Log in to the MyPGA Mobile App

  • Tap the menu icon

  • Select Accounts

You should now see the player(s) linked to your guardian access.

Helpful Notes

  • Invitations are sent by email and must be accepted before access is granted

  • Each guardian must have (or create) their own MyPGA account

  • The invited guardian should use their own login credentials, not the account owner’s

  • If you invited the same guardian for multiple players, make sure each invitation has been accepted

  • Confirm the invitation was sent to the correct email address

  • If access does not appear after accepting:

    • fully close and reopen the MyPGA Mobile App

    • log out and log back in

  • For unresolved issues, contact the PGA of America Help Center through the app
