This transition plan assumes you have already set up your Availability and Booking Types. You can learn more about Getting Started with the PGA Calendar.

Great work setting up your PGA Calendar! Now that you're ready to share your digital calendar with the world, you're probably wondering how best to transition moving from your current paper calendar to this new digital PGA Calendar.

You're in luck! We've outlined a quick and simple plan to help your transition below.

Two-Week Transition Plan

Allow yourself a specific amount of time to sequence when you'd like your new digital calendar to go live. We've found a two-week period of time to be effective.

Step 1: Block Time

Manually block a two-week window of time on your PGA Calendar. You can complete this by visiting the availability setting in my.pga.com. See the 30-second video below to learn how to create this block on your PGA Calendar.

Step 2: Identify the Current Customer Booking Journey

Learn about the various ways that customers currently book time with you (eg. call the golf shop, communicate with you directly, click a button on your website, visit your PGA Coach Profile, etc.). The key to a smooth transition is making sure that your customers have your new booking link easily discoverable and accessible.

You can find new and unique ways to make this booking link available for your customers any time they're ready to book time with you on your schedule. Best of all, they'll always have your most up-to-date schedule.

Step 3: Share Your Booking Link

Now is the time to share your booking link with your customers. Your customers now have your most up-to-date schedule of availability. Passively booking lessons you'll find is a big win. ๐Ÿ’ช

Additional Setup Features

We've found the following features helpful in managing the productivity of your new digital PGA Calendar.

Sync With Your Google Calendar

If you have a Google Calendar, you can connect it to your PGA Calendar. Doing this will allow you to manage your time on a more granular level by bringing in your blocked times from your Google Calendar into the PGA Calendar as busy times.

In other words, any time that is booked on your Google Calendar, can't also be booked on your PGA Calendar. This greatly reduces the chance of a double booking.

Subscribe To Your Existing Calendar

By subscribing to an existing calendar you have, you will allow new PGA booked sessions to appear on your calendar. This will also help you in managing your schedule and further prevent the chance of a double booking.

You can subscribe to your existing calendar by visiting your PGA Calendar.
