Switching a player to a different program or age division requires two steps:

  1. Refunding the current registration

  2. Re-registering for the new program

This ensures the player is correctly placed and all program details, fees, and team kit information are accurate.


Step-by-Step: Switch Process

1. Refund the Original Registration

  • A refund must be initiated for the player’s current registration

  • The player will be removed from the original program roster as part of this process

  • Refunds are typically returned within 3–5 business days


2. Re-register for the New Program

  • The parent or guardian must complete a new registration for the desired program or age division

  • This includes selecting the correct program (for example, moving from 13U to 17U)


Important Things to Know About Fees (Registration)

  • Coaching fees may be collected online or offline, depending on the Coach’s setup

    • Online coaching fees are paid during online registration

    • Offline coaching fees are paid directly to the coach after registration; the coach will provide payment instructions and timelines

  • The #GameChanger Club fee is paid during online registration

  • The #GameChanger Club fee is only charged once per calendar year (January–December)

  • Players do not need to repurchase the #GameChanger Club fee when registering for additional programs in the same year

After the Coach submits the Team Kit order, the $120 #GameChanger Club fee becomes non-refundable. Parents/Guardians can purchase replacement jerseys through the Macron/PGA Jr. League Parent Replacement Items Storefront.

Coaches should not place orders through the Parent Replacement Storefront. To order jerseys for Assistant Coaches, Coaches should contact PGA Jr. League Support for assistance.


Important Things to Know About Refunds

  • Coaching fee refunds must be approved by the coach

    • Offline coaching fee refunds are handled directly by the coach

    • Online coaching fee refunds are processed through the PGA Jr. League system after coach approval

  • Refunds for the #GameChanger Club fee are processed by the PGA Jr. League Support team

  • The #GameChanger Club fee becomes non-refundable once the coach submits the Team Kit order


Team Kit & #GameChanger Club Rules

  • The #GameChanger Club fee includes the player’s team kit and participation benefits

  • The membership is valid for the full calendar year

If a player switches programs within the same calendar year:

  • They will not be charged the #GameChanger Club fee again

  • They will continue using their existing team kit

  • A new team kit will not be issued unless a new #GameChanger Club fee is required

Can players be moved directly between programs?

No. Players cannot be moved directly. The original registration must be refunded before registering for a new program.


How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds typically take 3–5 business days to process.


Will a player receive a new team kit when switching programs?

It depends:

  • Same calendar year: No new kit; the existing kit is used

  • New calendar year or new #GameChanger fee required: A new kit will be issued
