This article explains who can host a PGA Jr. League Play Day, the requirements to be eligible for All-Star consideration, and how to create a Play Day in your Coach Dashboard.
Who can host a Play Day?
All registered PGA Jr. League Coaches are eligible to host a Play Day.
As the Host Coach, you may determine event details such as:
Entry fees (if applicable)
Number of teams
Event logistics outlined in the registration form
To be eligible to count toward the All-Star Regional Leaderboard, Host Coaches must follow the competitive standards outlined in the All-Star Play Day Handbook.
Minimum participation requirement
To be valid, a Play Day must meet all of the following criteria:
The Play Day must include at least two participating teams
Each participating team must be coached by a different PGA Jr. League Coach
The participating teams must be led by Coaches from different PGA Jr. League Locations (facilities)
This requirement exists to ensure proper score verification and attestation.
How to create a Play Day
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to your Coach Dashboard
Sign in to your PGA Jr. League Coach Dashboard.Access your PGA Jr. League Location
Navigate to the appropriate Location (facility) from your dashboard.Open the Hosted Play Days tab
Select the tab labeled “Hosted Play Days.”Complete the Host Play Day registration form
Enter all required event details.Save your registration
Click “Save” to finalize your Play Day setup.
Important reminder for Host Coaches
Creating a Play Day does not automatically register your All-Star team(s).
You must still:
Register your All-Star team(s) for the Play Day
Do this from the Schedule tab within your All-Star Season program
