The Messaging feature offers the ability for you to communicate directly with your students and leads. We think messaging offers an opportunity to take all of the communication types you use now to run your coaching business (i.e. email, text message, etc.), and bring that into the app.
Before beginning the sections below, you should be logged in. If you are not yet logged in, you can do so by going to my.pga.com/pga-coach.
Create a Message
Start by clicking on Messaging in the side navigation. Click on the New Message button.
Selecting Students and Leads
You'll be presented with a list of leads you have received so far, and a list of students you have created on your account. Select one of your leads or students to message and click the Send Message button to continue.
Selecting a Group
If you'd like to send a group message to your Group Event roster, click to view the list of event participants / attendees, then click the chat icon. This is supported on both web and mobile.
Write a Message
You can now write your message to your student or lead. Once your message has been sent, they will receive an email notification with a link to Messaging to continue the conversation.
Notifications
Once you send a message, the receiver of that message will get an email with the message contents as well as an action to reply to the message you sent. The same notification will happen when they reply to the message (i.e. you will receive an email with the contents of the message and an action to reply).
Best Practices
We highly recommend you message your leads as soon as you receive them. A good process to follow is: once you get your lead notification email, rather than sending a separate email reply, simply launch the Messaging feature on my.pga.com/pga-coach to start the conversation.

Ask a question to get to know the lead’s goals
Share how to book a lesson or get started
