#1 Location Aware Leaderboard Ads

PGA.com features leaderboards from all the major tours (PGA, LPGA, Korn Ferry, and Champions). As part of these weekly leaderboards, we place a native ad featuring a PGA member's Coach Profile near to the website visitor.

This targeted promotion has resulted in 100s of thousands of impressions for coach profiles since we launched. We are also seeing Click-Thru Rates on these ads that are well above industry benchmarks for online advertising.

If there was One Reason to have a coach profile. This is the one!

#2 Organic Search Results

PGA.com has a very strong brand and as such, when we publish content we are often found at or near the top of Google Search Results for golf terms. Our coach profiles are no different.

Coach Rankings

Coach profiles quickly rise to the top of Google searches for their name and facilities once the profile is published. This particularly true when the search includes terms like golf lessons and golf coach.

Local Search Rankings

A major focus for Google is what they call Local Search. What Local Search means is that Google is trying to promote results that show information that are in proximity to the person performing the search. Coach Profiles, and the coach search, are positioned to take advantage of this to help maximize coach profiles on Google.

#3 A web presence without needing to manage a full website

If you don't have a website, your pga.com coach profile can be a great way to have a web presence that isn't social media. There is a lot of value in having consistent content to display to potential students. It allows you to showcase what you have to offer - without having to manage the technical requirements of managing your own website.

Also, as stated in #2, building a search presence can be difficult, especially against larger brands and existing platforms. We do not want to dissuade from having your own domain and website, but we strongly suggest having a profile on PGA.com as well.

#4 Publish Coaching Content on PGA.com

Part of the focus of PGA.com is to help give PGA members a voice to share with our visitors. When you create your coach profile you qualify to submit original content to be published and featured on pga.com, as well as PGA social media accounts.

This unique opportunity showcase your knowledge, but is also a way to build your personal brand to a large audience. We've already heard from coaches who have had their content featured positive results.

#5 Targeted PGA.com Audience

PGA.com draws a significant amount of visitors every month. We are committed to building an experience for those visitors which focuses on working with PGA members as they enjoy the game we all love and live.
