Since its inception in 2019, the #GameChanger Awards celebrate PGA Jr. League Coaches who go above and beyond to grow the game. The awards honor the 25 largest PGA Jr. League programs in the country as well as the largest programs in each of the 41 PGA of America Sections.
In 2022, a Player Engagement #GameChanger Award was added to celebrate Coaches who embrace an array of programming.
Coaches must meet all of the following criteria to earn a 2026 Player Engagement #GameChanger Award:
Lead 40 or more registered and active PGA Jr. League Players in your programs.
Host programs in at least two of the three age divisions (9u, 13u or 17u).
Complete ADM certification and a minimum of one (1) additional PGA Coach training course.
Publish a family golf event by utilizing the family golf group event template on PGA Coach.
