Overview
The second running of the PGA Family Golf Championship will take place September 28-29, 2024, at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The PGA Family Golf Championship will be split between amateur and professional divisions, with both adult and junior divisions offered within these. Teams of 2-4 players will compete in a scramble format for round one, followed by a modified alternate shot format for round two.
Entering the second year of hosting a national event, a full competitive pathway is under development, and it begins with local event participation and qualification.
Invitation Policy
Priority No. 1 (Invitations will be sent starting March 2024)
Top 5 teams in the two-player division at the 2023 Championship
Champions and runners-up in the four-player division at the 2023 Championship
Champions and runners-up in the professional division at the 2023 Championship
Winning teams from local PGA Family Golf events held between August 1, 2023, and February 29, 2024
PRIORITY 2 (If space is available; invitations will be sent within five business days of the PGA Coach/Host completing a submission form)
Winning teams from local PGA Family Golf events held after March 1, 2024
PRIORITY 3 (If space is available; invitations will be sent June 2024 )

Eligibility Requirements
All team members must be biologically or legally related. Teams are inclusive of all family members, regardless of age, or relation, e.g. grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, step-parents, siblings, cousins, etc.
Junior Division
Must have at least one adult and one junior per team
Teams of four playing in two pairs must have one adult and one junior per pair
An “adult” is considered to be someone who is 18 years of age or older on September 28, 2024
A “junior” is considered to be someone who is between the ages of 10-17 on September 28, 2024
Adult Division
All players on the team are adults
An “adult” is considered to be someone who is 18 years of age or older on September 28, 2024
Professional Division
Teams with one or more PGA or LPGA Professionals will compete within their own division at the Championship
