Multi-Factor Authentication

Learn more about multi-factor authentication and your account!

What is multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor authentication, have you heard of it? MFA, for short, is an additional layer of security to verify that you are, in fact, you! If you have signed onto any app or website and received an additional message to verify your sign-on, this is MFA working! There are many ways MFA can work, such as text messages, emails, fingerprint readers, security questions, or outside app verification. MFA is mostly used for accounts that hold sensitive information such as an email account, banking information, premium membership accounts, and others.

Why is MFA important?

MFA is important as it adds an additional layer of protection to ensure our identities and personal information is secure and not leaked or hacked.

But why do I need it for my PGA accounts?

Your PGA accounts contain sensitive personal information. To keep this information secure, you will be prompted to enable MFA on your account starting March 1, 2022.

How do I set up my MFA?

Setting up your MFA is easy! You will sign onto your Coaching profile website and follow the OneLogin prompts. Simply, you will enter your cell-phone number, receive a code to that cell-phone, and enter the code into the appropriate field. BAM! You are secure and ready to go!

What is OneLogin?

OneLogin is the vendor used to enable your MFA.
