Understanding Locations and Programs
A Location represents the facility where your PGA Jr. League Programs take place. Every Program must be created within a Location.
The Head Coach must create the first Location and the first Program for the current calendar year. Afterward, assigned Location Managers can create additional Locations and Programs.
A new Location must be created for each calendar year. For example, a Location created for 2026 cannot be reused for 2027.
Locations from previous years remain visible on the PGA Jr. League dashboard so Coaches can access historical Program records. As a result, a Coach who has worked at the same facility for several years may see multiple Locations with the same name:
Green Grass Golf Club
Green Grass Golf Club
Green Grass Golf Club
Without additional information, it may be difficult to identify which Location contains the current Programs.
Recommended Location naming format
Use the optional custom Location name to make yearly Location records easier to distinguish. We recommend adding the calendar year after the facility name:
Green Grass Golf Club (2027)
Green Grass Golf Club (2026)
Green Grass Golf Club (2025)
A Head Coach or Location Manager can add or change a custom Location name.
Important:
Your custom Location name will appear in public Program listings on the PGA Jr. League website. Use a name that parents and guardians will recognize. We recommend retaining the facility’s official name and making only a simple addition, such as the calendar year. Avoid replacing the facility name with an unfamiliar nickname or a substantially different name.
