Use this article for regular season play only.

  • These are recommended guidelines

  • Coaches may adjust based on player ability and course layout


🧭 Tee Assignments by Age Division (Recommended)

  • Girls 11U and Boys 9U → CIRCLE

  • Boys 10–11 and Girls 12–13 → PENTAGON

  • Boys 12–13 and Girls 14+ → SQUARE

  • Boys 14+ → TRIANGLE


📏 Yardage Recommendations

CIRCLE Tees

  • Max: 2,000 yards

  • Par 3: ≤100

  • Par 4: ≤215

  • Par 5: ≤320


PENTAGON Tees

  • Max: 2,200 yards

  • Par 3: ≤120

  • Par 4: ≤250

  • Par 5: ≤340


SQUARE Tees

  • Max: 2,325 yards

  • Par 3: ≤130

  • Par 4: ≤275

  • Par 5: ≤370


TRIANGLE Tees

  • Max: 2,625 yards

  • Par 3: ≤150

  • Par 4: ≤315

  • Par 5: ≤400


💡 General Guidance

  • Yardages should support:

    • Skill development

    • Scoring opportunities (birdies)

    • Positive player experience

  • Tee locations may be shared depending on course layout


🤖 Fin Behavior Guidance (internal use)

  • Present as flexible recommendations

  • If coach asks “can I adjust?” → answer yes

  • Avoid language implying requirement or enforcement
